If I had my life to live over, I would start barefoot earlier in the sprint and stay that way in jail. I would go more dances, I would ride more merry-go-rounds. I would pick more daisies. - Nadine Stair

Bucket List

Exhilirating Adventure

1. Road Tripping / Motorbike Speed Of Over 100KPH

Riding in group has some form of pressure, as you get or need to adjust to your fellows; in this case, I was with seasoned drivers, hence, I've got no choice but keep up with them; there were four of us, I was in the 3rd in the formation.

For this long clean road, we had the opportunity to max out our throttle;  and believe me riding at over 100kph is very thrilling, cortisol level increased yet so liberating. Wow! I can't believe I was in this speed. The beautiful sound of engine, the strong drift of wind, the full throttle, the panoramic view, and of course the crazy speed. I felt invincible. This is definitely the adrenaline rush longed by extreme sports enthusiasts. The reward overpowers the risks, yet you need not to forget your composure, or else bad things happen.

2. Zipline at Brgy. Olympug ( Zipline at D' Leonor)

Breath taking views from above, and with adrenaline rushing along this 460m ride; it was such a hilarious amazing ride. We conquered this D'Leonor Zipline at last. Such a thrill.

We'd love to repeat this experience soon, at the 5th Mountain Adventure Resort (1st GenSan Zipline) a fast and furious ride of 80kph. Hmm.. Intriguing.

3. WallClimb

I was a euphoric moment. I can't believe I did it (this is normal reaction from someone with fear on heights). This climb was around 30 ft, something that challenges our wrist and forearm flexors.

For someone who would like to try it, my advice:
a) Don't look down:
b) Don't Over-analyze and Just Start

30ft Wall Climb - succeeded on second attempt

4. Beach Cliff Dive/ Diving Board

I killed any hesitation, and JUMP! (approx 10ft air depth + 5 ft underwater depth). Awesome!

We need to cover our nose to avoid water-air pressure.

12 Powerful Statements From The Book "One Month To Live" by Kerry and Chris Shook

Nothing focuses a person's priorities in life like learning he is about to die. Many of us would suddenly realize we have spent our lives on things that were not very important. So many of us waste our lives with "when and then" thinking, believing that "when" this happens,"then" we will really start living and do something that really matters.

By embracing the fact that our time on earth is limited, we can deliberately, no longer postponing the joy and peace that come from fulfilling our destiny.

I'm convinced that rather than inhibiting us to play it safe, embracing our time on earth as a limited resource has incredible power to liberate us. Most of us, if we knew we only had one month to live, would live differently. We would be more authentic about who we are and are more deliberate about how we spent our time. But such a contrast begs the question: what keeps us from living this way now?

The temporal nature of our lives should keep our focus on what matters most.

Life isn't measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life
to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it, I say! Whatever you want to do, do it now! There are
only so many tomorrows.

Often we're tempted to play it safe and settle for far less than we were made for. I know so many people whose favorite day of the week is Someday. Countless people in every stage of life say, " Someday I'm going to go for all that life has to offer."

I don't want to get to the end of my life and find that I have just live the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.

If we knew we had one month to live, I suspect most of us would experience crystal clarity about how to prioritize our time. If you want to live with no regrets, then you may need to inventory your life and see how you've been spending your time.

The 80/20 Principle: Basically 20% of what you do brings about most of the results in your life, and 80% of what you do is pretty much wasted time.

How does one become a butterfly? ... You must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar.

Love. Integrity. Forgiveness. Enthusiasm. Life. The passionate life, the one life we've been given to
live. It's about living with this passion, living life to the fullest and not settling. It's about living
passionately, loving completely, learning humbly, and leaving a legacy that will have eternal impact.

Why I Made This Blog?

Its not on my personality to write and express how I view this world, much more do I struggle with writing; but after reading "One Month to Live" (impulse buy - not a typical me)  by Chris and Kerry Shook, a hard lesson hit me. I need to make a legacy NOW! I need to document anything: wisdom to pass on to my nieces and to my future kids. One key question that the book offered was: What would you do if you knew you had 1 month to live? The making of this blog, therefore is giving a legacy to my nieces and nephews: Larah Angela, Anne, Julia, Aliyah, Gab, Angela and Joffrey Jr and of course to my own future kids (I'll name them Sigrid, Kim, Athena and Jerome Jr.). Legacy is something that will last beyond our lifetime (could be a material, memories or anything). Hence, this blog is all about the memories, the lessons, the love, the legacy that I will be leaving them.
Of course, one of my goal is to be centenarian myself, but let me try to assume that I had one month to live, lets see what happens.
